Andrew E. Sarber has been sentenced back to prison for the third time this year. At only age 27, Sarber has a detailed record of run-ins dated back to August of 2002. Cathie Cameron, daughter of 82-year-old Mabel Pugliese, has been reporting to the police for the last year that a registered sex offender has been drugging her mom and using her for money. Registered sex offender, 35-year-old Edward Caldwell, was released from prison in October of 2007 and shortly thereafter, convinced Pugliese that he was her grandson. Who Is Responsible For Notifying?

Sex offenders are limited to where they can live and places they can go, but in Or Akiva, Israel, there is not a rule about offenders going to the synagogues to pray. Eliezer Shmailov, who has 18 sex offence charges as well as three prison terms on his record, was attending the synagogues as a volunteer to watch over the children in the afternoons. If the police knew of his record, then why was no one at the synagogue notified? Should they have been notified or checked for themselves? Read more on this article here.

Due to the restrictions on where sex offenders can live, it makes it harder and harder for these offenders to find places to stay.
