Lyons town officials are set to discuss a proposal Monday night that would restrict where sex offenders can live.
Supporters are worried that restrictions in larger cities will force sex offenders into small towns and rural areas — like Lyons. The town 17 miles north of Boulder has a population of almost 17-hundred.
Opponents argue that such laws isolate sex offenders in areas where they can’t get treatment and may force the people to go underground.

I thank when it comes to a sex offender getting kicked out of town the officals need to look at what they were charged with and see what there back ground is like and what the chances of them reoffending for the simple fact that a sex offender can make a mistake 1 time and learn there lessen and complate all that they are soppose to do and NEVER do it again so I dont thank that it is right to do that
