Helping keep kids safe from Sexual Offenders. The National Alert Registry increases parents' awareness.
About the National Alert Registry
The National Alert Registry was organized to help protect children from becoming victims of sexual offenders. It strives to do this by increasing awareness and educating parents about the threats of sexual offenders and the best ways to protect their children from possible future occurrences. Beyond being an educational resource, the National Alert Registry provides additional information through its Predator Report, an easy-to-use service offering a complete sexual offenders list for each ZIP code nationwide.
Since Megan's Law was passed it is required by law for all convicted sexual offenders to register with the local police departments. Unfortunately, budgetary and other constraints make it almost impossible for this vital information to be conveyed to each parent in every community. The National Alert Registry's Predator Report was specifically designed to address this problem. Through a simple zip code based sexual offender search parents can know whether a sexual offender has moved into their community, and can access a complete profile of the registered sexual offender.
The Predator Report allows you to view thousands of database records on sexual offenders from a sexual offenders list. It allows you to perform searches in your neighborhood and community to find the number of sexual offenders in your area with extreme ease of use, making it an ideal choice for home users or professionals alike, all from the privacy of your own home.
The following is a brief review of some of the powerful features of the Predator Report:
* Find sexual offenders in your neighborhood through a sexual offender search that utilizes the extensive National Alert Registry Database.
* Obtain Maps and detailed information on all registered sexual offenders in your zip-code. Includes names, maps, current addresses, description of crime and color photos for selected states
* You don't need the sexual offenders name or visit any police stations to find the address and picture of sexual offenders in your neighborhood.
* Receive a monthly Red Alert e-mail notifying you if a new registered sexual offender moves into your area.
* All services are confidential and accessed from the privacy of your home.

registered sex offenders by keeping you aware, alert & informed.
Background:
The U.S. Congress has passed several laws that require states to monitor child offenders; the Wetterling Registration Act, the Lychner Tracking and Identification Act and Megan's Law.
On March 5, 2003, The Supreme Court ruled that information about registered sex offenders may be posted on the Internet.
Problem:
Information on registered megan's law offenders are available and you have the right to access it, The problem is that locating that information can be very difficult.
In most instances, you have to know the name of the individual you are looking for, and in many States you must go to your police station and complete a request form. Additionally, some states have a fee and limit individuals to viewing only two registered sex offender names at a time.
The Solution:
The Registered child offenders list offered by National Alert Registry. Now in the privacy of your home, you can view information about all registered sex offenders in your area, including how close they reside to your own home and your children, all displayed on a convenient map of your neighborhood.
Our free service provides the number of sexual predators in your neighborhood. If you wish, you can then purchase the National Alert Registry service, which includes a detailed map of your neighborhood and the locations and backgrounds or the registered sex offenders.
